A week at the Notts Post

Had an interesting week at The Post, left to my own devices on the whole but made sure I pestered people to send me stuff, need to build up my confidence to go out among the general population vox popping though.
Unfortunately as I have mixed feelings to random people walking up and talking to me on the street I feel slightly hypocritical in doing the same thing myself. I almost feel like headbutting myself on the pavement (it would look marginally less weird than punching myself in the face....marginally....maybe)

Mr C Beaver raised an interesting point yesterday though, when did it become acceptable to do charity collections in a pub? We're not talking the collection pots next to the counter, I often put small change in them, but people walking around with aforementioned collection pot saying "give some money to old/young/diseased/dying people please"

Erm hang on, what? If I want to give money I will, I don't need you coming up to me in my own social time asking me to give money to charity. I already do actually so what do you give them as a matter of interest??

Anyway rant over but seriously, don't bloody do it
