I felt Losts conclusion was quite appropriate for the series, it left many questions unanswered but in fairness wasn't that always the case with Lost. I think it was a somewhat happy ending which could be considered as a disapointment for some, in an email to my friend for example I suggested a much more negative ending, Jack glancing up whilst laying in the bamboo field, seeing the plane fly over heard, but oh no John Locke wasn't dead he was playing possum, got on board the plane somehow (this is Lost after all, anything can happen) collects the C4 he'd left wired to the plane, and boom sets it off, no happy ending this time! (although I might be right in thinking he used that c4 to blow up the sub? who knows now will have to watch again to get my head round all the little truths and answers that have been revealed or not)
The ending of 24 was less of a happy note, although it did end positively if you consider the fact Jack somehow survived again! Not that I consider that much of a spoiler as we all knew there was already a movie penned in after this series had finished. The final farewell between Jack and Chloe was a little emotional. A little disapointing to see someone so far gone, the massacre of the Russian diplomat and his whole crew and attack on Logan's Limo being prime examples, somehow turnout to be a decent guy after all but if he'd gone ahead and actually killed the Russian President that would have been a little extreme!
On a side note,what was breaking bad all about this week? A crazy fly, what the...? This whole episode could have been summed up in the brief exchange between our two main protagonists with the I'm worried about you because your behaving obsessively like my grandma when her cancer came back - the rest of the episode was a huge waste of time! Will have to watch it again to see if I missed anything, but I doubt it
